What to Expect

This course is intentionally designed to move you through the content, one week at a time. I chose to do it this way for 3 reasons. First, it ensures that everyone is working on and posting to the course on the same content. Second, to encourage discussion on the topic of the week, and third, to keep you engaged and motivated over the full five weeks.

Each week, new material will be made available. The teachings are provided via pre-recorded video presentations along with the accompanying guide or worksheets. There will be assignments and tasks to complete that will ask you to apply what you are learning to the work you are currently doing in your program. You are encouraged to ask questions and provide comments, thoughts, and insights to the instructor and course members for feedback, guidance, support, and suggestions. This kind of participation is essential because it allows all of us to learn from each other.

I will answer all questions posted but also welcome others to offer answers or suggestions as well. Although I may have many years of teaching experience, I remain an avid learner, so I value each of you and what you bring to the class.
